BINGHAMTON – Mirabito Energy Products is proud to announce the launch of its new charitable initiative, Gallons for Good, aimed at making a significant impact in the community through customer participation. This program allows customers to donate their Mirabito Rewards that they earn with every home energy purchase made, including fuel, heating and cooling equipment and more. Each year, a nonprofit organization will be selected to receive the funds raised, starting with the Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital and the Upstate Foundation as the inaugural recipient.

Through the Gallons for Good program, customers can choose to contribute their Rewards to the Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital and Upstate Foundation, which provides critical care and support to children in our communities. The initiative aligns with Mirabito’s mission of community support and engagement, allowing customers to play an active role in giving back.

How It Works

Mirabito customers can participate in the Gallons for Good program by logging into their online account or Mirabito Mobile app, navigating to their Home Heat Rewards account, and opting in to donate their rewards to the Gallons for Good Program. Additionally, customers can make one-time Rewards donations to support this cause without committing to ongoing contribution. At the end of the year, Mirabito will convert the Rewards to dollars and will join in contributing to the selected organization, making it even more impactful. At that same time, we will also announce the next charity selection for the following year.

This initiative complements Mirabito’s Round Up campaigns, which occur 3-4 times a year at our Mirabito Convenience Stores. During these campaigns, customers can choose to round up their purchase totals, with the extra change going to support local community projects and charities. This effort further emphasizes our commitment to giving back.

Both the Gallons for Good initiative and the Round Up campaigns are integral parts of Mirabito Cares, our program dedicated to supporting local communities via various initiatives and partnerships. Through these charitable contributions and volunteer efforts, we are committed to fostering growth, sustainability, and well-being in the regions we serve.

Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital is a leading pediatric care facility dedicated to providing comprehensive medical services to children in the region. With a commitment to healing and nurturing, the hospital offers specialized care, support services, and programs designed to improve the health and well-being of its young patients.

As the Region’s only Level 1 Trauma and Burn center, Upstate offers a complete range of health care services for children from birth to 19 years of age.
